LITTLE MOAT - sleeps 11
The largest of our properties, Little Moat sleeps 11. Nestled on the farm, Little Moat is a great option for larger groups or families, with lots of entertaining space and a large garden to explore.

The main house sleeps 9 with an additional studio in the garden for a further 2. Ideal for the grandparents or anyone else in the group looking for a little bit of peace and quiet during their stay!!

The garden is full of interest for children with climbing frame, swings, mud kitchen and Wendy house as well as a lawn big enough for football or cricket! In addition the garden has a moat running along the perimeter attracting an abundance of wildlife.

Little Moat

Little Moat is named after the moat that boarders our garden. It was once filled with trout and attached to Salford Hall when it was originally a monastery. One of our lockdown projects was to reinstate it and create a secluded area to enjoy the wildlife. The house was previously our family home and we hope you have a wonderful time there.
The Living Space
Little Moat offers a number of large communal spaces for entertaining. The sitting room includes ample seating, a large wood burner and Sky TV, including Sports and Movies. The kitchen has an Aga and double air fryer and a large dining table with an additional wood burner for long evenings around the table. Finally the hall provides additional seating.

The Upstairs Space
With four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms - everyone is catered for upstairs. The master bedroom includes an en suite shower room, followed by a further double room. There is a double bunk bed (comprising of 4 single beds) and a cot bed. There is 1 further single bedroom. In addition there is the family bathroom and another shower room.

The Outdoor Space
The garden is a joy, with ample outside dining space including a gas BBQ, there is also a large lawn suitable for games, a climbing frame, a Wendy house and swings. In addition, you can explore further, around the moat - a heaven for wildlife, with ducks, moor hens, fish to name but a few - we have even caught a glimpse of the elusive kingfisher down by the deck!

The Studio
Small but perfectly formed - the space has everything you would need for an escape when needed. A loft conversion above the garage; the space includes a king size bed, Sky TV, internet and kitchenette and a large spacious shower room.
'Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the loft! It was cosy, quiet and homely. So clean and peaceful and Kate was a great host! Absolutely what we needed If we come back to the area we’ll look into coming back. Would defo recommend for anyone looking at going to the area.'
'Had a very relaxing stay overnight in the Studio. It was very comfortable and the kitchenette is well equipped. The deck is a very relaxing space next to the Studio where you can watch the ducklings, herons, etc whilst enjoying a cuppa, beer, food, etc and Kate is very welcoming. We enjoyed a great evening meal at Broom Hall, a short drive away. Would love to return here and stay longer next time.'
'Had a wonderful stay! Kate was an excellent host and couldn’t have been more accommodating! Kate allowed us to check in a little earlier so our baby could have his afternoon nap and when we arrived the cot was all set up and ready to go. The facilities are excellent, the bed is comfortable and the location is wonderful - not only close to all the sights you’d want to see in the Cotswolds, but the Studio itself is set in beautiful surroundings. First class from start to finish!'

Their porch right on the water was heaven and location is very well located to near villages but also easy to find/get to while being immersed in nature still.
